Although officially existing as a clothing company all the way back to 2001, Fucking Awesome didn't become a legitimate skateboard manufacturer until 2014. After the fallout from Alien Workshop's demise, ex-riders and teammates Jason Dill and Anthony Van Engelen 'AVE' made FA their brainchild (alongside its sister company Hockey).

Unimpressed by sub-standard skateboard companies and bored of the tame output in the market place, AVE and Dill took it upon themselves to inject shock value back on to the board walls, rails and racks of skate shops. Releasing mysterious adverts and producing off the cuff, 'un-parent friendly', dystopian graphics with disturbing references allowed them to relive the intrigue of their youth. Going above and beyond the normal practices of skateboard production, decks are often characterised by embossed plys, ever slick pads and odd inserts.
