Birdhouse Skateboards was started in 1992 by Tony Hawk. It was founded on the premise that, if you love something, you support it and and nurture it. Over the years, the team has included some of the most famous names in skateboarding including Jeremy Klein, Steve Berra, Willy Santos, Ocean Howell, Brian Sumner, Steve Nesser and Bucky Lasek. The groundbreaking video 'The End' featuring legendary parts from Andrew Reynolds and Heath Kirchart was released in 1998. In more recent times, the Birdhouse team is quite different but they are still putting out regular videos including 'Beautiful Mutants' and 'Saturdays' by Jason Hernandez.
