Sad news from over South Yorkshire way as the legendary Sheffield DIY has finally been taken away. Sidewalk Mag have put together a short video of their favourite clips filmed there alongside a photo gallery that documents some of the best tricks ever done at the spot. "It’s been on the cards for some time due to the land being sold to a housing developer, but this week saw the final bells toll for Sheffield’s much-loved DIY build. The bulldozers moved in and its semi-hidden concrete bounties are sadly well and truly demolished. We thought that this spot deserved something of a send off to honour the many hours of graft that various members of the Sheffield skateboarding community put in to provide this dope spot to the skaters of the city and the UK skateboard scene as a whole, so we’ve put together a mixtape of some of our favourite clips filmed there over the years."
