New Balance Numeric Introduces the 933
Introducing the New Balance Numeric Andrew Reynolds Signature Model, the 933
We’ve been fans of Andrew Reynolds for for a very long time — from the rawness of Transworld's 4 Wheel Drive, to the era-defining part in The End, to the timelessness of Stay Gold. Reynolds has consistently elevated skateboarding, not just with his technical brilliance, but with a dedication to personal growth and progression that has inspired multiple generations, ourselves included.
That’s why we’re beyond stoked to be just weeks away from stocking his long-awaited debut signature model on New Balance Numeric: the 933.
Skating professionally for over thirty years, Reynolds brought his signature attention to detail and perfectionism to the 933 — the same mindset that had him filming and re-filming tricks until they were exactly right. The process was hands-on and intentional, with wear testing, refinements, and feedback straight from the Boss himself. The result? A shoe worthy of his legacy — and skateboarding’s most anticipated pro shoe release in a long time.
Packed with functional tech and personal detailing the 933 is built for performance, precision, and longevity. Its design reflects Reynolds’ personal needs as a skater in his forties who still pushes the limits. Featuring the best of New Balance’s performance technology, the shoe is engineered to deliver unmatched comfort and support session after session, plus is looks pretty damn good too.
“For me, being a skater in my forties, the wrong shoes will hurt my whole body,” said Reynolds. “So it’s very important to me that I can make something to avoid that. I want to be able to skate with youthfulness. If I take part in designing something that is going to help that, then I think, Why not?”
Tyrone Romero, Senior Marketing Manager at New Balance Numeric, added: “The signature model shoe is the highest accolade in skateboarding. He’s done so much for the culture — he continues to give back, is building a legacy, and creates careers for other people. Giving him a signature shoe is a complete honor.”
Jeff Mikut, Creative Design Manager at New Balance, summed it up: “The beauty of where we went with the 933 was to take the New Balance 990 ethos and the performance that the brand is known for and perfectly assimilate that into a skateboarding shoe. Andrew wanted to design a shoe that will allow him to skate longer, will stand the test of time, and is better than everyone else’s.”
With the 933, New Balance Numeric aren't just releasing a skate shoe — they’re celebrating an icon.
The 933 will be available in store and online at Welcome from Wednesday the 14th of May.
