Chocolate Skateboards

Chocolate Skateboards

in 1994, a year on from starting Girl Skateboards, Mike Carroll and Rick Howard founded Chocolate because they "just couldn't fit Chico Brenes into the Girl tour van". So they gathered together an original team of Keenan Milton, Daniel Castillo, Paulo Diaz, Richard Mulder, Shamil Randle, Gabriel Rodriguez and Ben Sanchez to join Chico under the sister brand of Chocolate. Having now been in the scene for over twenty years, Chocolate continue to offer the highest quality of boards and soft goods.

Their videos were originally shot by iconic filmmaker Spike Jonze and classic like 'The Chocolate Tour' and 'Las Nueve Vidas De Paco' involved a backstory and skateboarders acting, which is rarely every pulled off with any style at all. Later on Chocolate would go on to release 'Hot Chocolate', have a team section in 'Yeah Right!' and then partner up with Girl to work on 'Pretty Sweet' that hit our screens in 2012.
