Product - Slappy Trucks 'ST1 Inverted Hollow Ultra Low'
When Team Manager supreme Mike Sinclair announced his new brand 'Slappy Trucks' I was probably the first person to shout out "Do we need another truck brand in skateboarding?".
Well the resounding answer was yes and I must admit was totally wrong. Skateboarding trucks started to scratch the surface of inverted kingpins way back, the hollow kingpin and axle is old news and the low or high truck thing gets kind of boring (especially when risers come into it). But brands from the undercarriage world are attempting to reshape the way we look, move and grind. Much like their rounder axle counterparts Ace Trucks, Slappy have innovated and worked on their moulds and styles constantly to create a better truck.

This has continued through to 2025 with Slappy Truck's latest invention the ST1 Inverted Hollow Ultra Low. The truck offers unprecedented clearance at 12.5mm giving your kingpin a break and grinds a better chance to lock-in. The Hollow Ultra Low always weighs in at 344g, 22 grams lighter than its Ace counterpart. Another insane detail? The are £68 for a set, no more paying for extra tech or less trucks here.
