Vans Skateboarding introduces the Vans Safe Low to the less hype-aware skateboarding market. Off the back of the Palace Vans Low of 2023 the Safe Low re-imagines, updates and vulcanises a sell-out Vans shoes.

Technically the shoe merges Vans classic footwear offerings the Half Cab and Mike Carroll's original MC96 for a newer well-rounded silhouette. The Vans Safe Low is built on a re-built vulcanised sole unit (from the half cab) with the MC96's internal loop lacing system, saving you that constant repeat of swapping out laces. On top of all of that tech stuff an additional sock liner for comfort has been added alongside the classic Vans Waffle tread pattern we all know and love. With all this in mind the Vans Safe Low is sure to be Vans' key weapon in their resurgence of 2024.

The Vans Safe Low will be available in two colour ways for Palace & Vans team riders Danny Brady and Rory Milanes. The Brady Blue Sky is designed with a durable blue suede upper on a contrasting black vulc sole unit and the Milanes White Leather plays it safe on a white vulc. Both shoes also have custom artwork from each skater, with Rory’s shoe featuring art by his friend and Palace artist, John Knight.
