Magenta

Based on ideas that companies didn't have to rely on big impact, handrail and stair skating, but could in fact have a much more artistic and stylish approach, Vivien and Jean Fiel conjured up Magenta Skateboards back in 2010. Characterised by fast snappy manoeuvres, quick pop, odd power slides and tricks you can't quite your head around, Magenta's ethos started to lift off. Employing long time friend Soy Panday as head art director, the French board company has created a distinct aesthetic for itself, with every graphic being something special. This strive for style is further reflected in their product, tees and hoods are made from premium heavy-weight cottons and boards are produced in the best presses.
