Drift Tricks At Leeds Art Gallery

We were lucky enough to get an early access session on Dani Abulhawa's latest installation in Leeds Art Gallery. Titled 'Drift Tricks' the skatebable structures alongside Dani’s audio piece on Allyship aim to tackle exclusivity, intimidation and the visible as well as invisible barriers which surround traditional skateboarding spaces.

Whilst Drift Tricks lies dormant for casual onlookers of art and sculpture work the wider skateboard community has been gifted with radical events for beginners, marginalised genders and different age groups.

Led by shop friend Ro, the 2-hour sessions will have them around in case any beginners need a helpful hand from an accredited coach as well as first-aider (we need more of these) during the event!

These events have limited numbers and booking is essential but they are however free, so hit the corresponding links for more information and tickets.
